Discharge valves for nuclear power plants are necessary to discharge the vapor-gas mixture from the NPP room into the discharge channel and further into the atmosphere, limiting the pressure in the room, and to block the discharge channel when installing the valve locking element in the "closed" position, thereby preventing unorganized ventilation of the room.
